I've had an exceptional stay with great service and lots to do and see in local area. The views at this family-friendly hotel were beautiful. The staff was very efficient at all levels. The location was magnificent as a museum and a theater were walking distance to the venue. There was parks and hills walking distance to the place. It had a stylish restaurant for breakfast.

The hotel was wonderful, excellent services provided, magnificent location to California. Our room was decent size and recently refurbished with lovely bathroom and the overall experience was great.

Loved our stay there and would stay here again. The location was unbeatable and fab, minutes from Palm Beach Casino. And it was also next to the London city centre, Mayfair, and Mayfair / London. Exceptionally comfortable beds, a minibar, central heating and an iron were a nice touch.

The service, bar area and location were the best. The luxury feel of the foyer and the all of the public areas makes for a good experience
The room wasn't up to the standard I expected. The room I stayed in previously was lovely, this one wasn't. You can register these minor complaints for me: the TV channels didn't work in the room, breakfast was dry and over cooked, it was more than edible but not right for a 5 star hotel

The quality of the suite bathroom was fantastic, very comfortable bed and speed and promptness of room service was excellent.
The iPod docking station on the Radio was broken and did not link to the advertised Bang Olufsen sound system.

Checkout is always really busy and can take 30 minutes to book out.

the position of the hotel and not much else
not much other than some of the staff. Having stayed at the Helmsley Park Lane I just could not compare the two establishments,

Very welcoming at reception. We were allowed to keep our room on for a few more hours before checkout. They changed the room I was first allocated and were very helpful. Concierge were a delight.
No complimentary bottled water in room, unusual for a 5* hotel. TV's on the small side, although they are B&O.

The decoration in general, the rooms are spacious and very clean. The bathroom is very modern and practical.
Nightrest: We stayed at the third floor for two nights (Friday and Saturday). During these two nights, a party was going on and made a lot of direct noise. Most of these 2 nights were absolutely a nightmare. Quince restaurant: different things went wrong: (1) the glasses for water were both dirty (2) two different wine bottles were not available and we had to choice for a more expensive one (3) mistake on the bill Check-out: too much on the bill (again), there seems to be no control mechanism about expenses.

Location Concierges
I was charged 3.50 pounds for the mini bar and we never even opened it ? It is not so much the amount but the principle.... The carpet in the room was not very clean. One of the 3 panels curtains were hanging off the track. Our room did not get clean one day and we had to call house keeping when we returned at night. it took over 30 min to get a bell boy.

Location great bar and food great great rooms and spa
breakfast in room was cold which is very disappointing and generally staff not as professional as have been in previous stays. Cost of breakfast in room incredibly high for what it was.
